How to Reset Your VPS Password (Virtualizor Panel)

If you have forgotten your VPS password or want to set a new one, you can easily reset it from the Virtualizor Control Panel provided with your Ateex VPS service.

Step 1: Login to the Virtualizor Panel

1. Open your Ateex client area.

2. Navigate to Services ? My Services.

3. Click on your VPS service.

4. Click Login to Virtualizor Panel.

Step 2: Open the Change Password Option

1. Inside the Virtualizor panel, locate your VPS in the dashboard.

2. Click on the "Change Password" option.

Step 3: Enter a New Password

1. Enter your new root password.

2. Confirm the password.

3. Click Change Password to apply the update.

Step 4: Wait for the Process to Complete

Virtualizor will reset the password inside the VPS automatically. This process may take a few seconds.

Step 5: Connect to Your VPS

After the password is changed, you can connect to your VPS using SSH:

ssh root@YOUR_SERVER_IP

Then enter the new password you just set.

Important Notes

• Make sure your VPS is powered on before resetting the password.

• If the password reset does not work, try rebooting the VPS once.

• Some operating systems may require Cloud-Init or guest tools to properly update the password.
