How to Reset Your VPS Password (Virtualizor Panel)
If you have forgotten your VPS password or want to set a new one, you can easily reset it from the Virtualizor Control Panel provided with your Ateex VPS service.
Step 1: Login to the Virtualizor Panel

Open your Ateex client area.

Navigate to Services ? My Services.

Click on your VPS service.

Click Login to Virtualizor Panel.
Step 2: Open the Change Password Option

Inside the Virtualizor panel, locate your VPS in the dashboard.

Click on the "Change Password" option.
Step 3: Enter a New Password

Enter your new root password.

Confirm the password.

Click Change Password to apply the update.
Step 4: Wait for the Process to Complete
Virtualizor will reset the password inside the VPS automatically. This process may take a few seconds.
Step 5: Connect to Your VPS
After the password is changed, you can connect to your VPS using SSH:
ssh root@YOUR_SERVER_IP
Then enter the new password you just set.
Important Notes

Make sure your VPS is powered on before resetting the password.

If the password reset does not work, try rebooting the VPS once.

Some operating systems may require Cloud-Init or guest tools to properly update the password.
