How to Change Server Settings (Difficulty, Gamemode, Max Players)

Step 1: Stop the server.

Step 2: Open the server.properties file.

Step 3: Edit the values you want:

• difficulty=easy (change to peaceful, normal, hard)

• gamemode=survival (change to creative, adventure)

• max-players=20 (change player limit)

•  

Step 4: Save the file.

Step 5: Start the server again.

Changes will apply immediately after restart.
